This specimen is a type of jasper, whose color comes from natural reactions of iron and copper.  Apache warpaint is particularly helpful for seeing things for what they are, while also encouraging original thought.  Work with apache warpaint when you want to let go of dramatic or outdated situations, or are seeking relief from sadness/grief.  Jaspers are useful for supporting the root chakra, especially in terms of grounding, feeling connected, and stable.
